SANTA BARBARA, CA - EarthShell Corp. reports EarthShell Packaging sandwich wraps now are being used in eight national parks throughout the US.
Prior to distribution in the US park system, EarthShell completed what it calls a successful test market of its sandwich wraps in the Baltimore/Washington area over a three-month period. Reportedly, the wraps met test objectives for product performance and price validation in the marketplace.
The wraps use the same ingredients as other EarthShell Packaging products, such as plates and bowls, which also are used in the parks. These ingredients, which include limestone, starch, and other biodegradable materials, are said to result in packaging that is environmentally preferable compared to traditional foil or paper and plastic-laminated wraps.
