PLAN AHEAD
The United States Department of Agriculture has selected ReserveAmerica to manage the expansion of the online campground-reservation system for the National Park Service (NPS) and four other federal land-management agencies. ReserveAmerica will manage a single, interagency federal-recreation-information and reservation service through recreation.gov.
The Web site, which is already online, will eventually serve as a one-stop-shop for consumers wishing to book more than 57,000 campsites, cabins and tours in parks managed by the Bureau of Land Management, die U.S. Forest Service, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the NPS.-Jeff Cridder
